Companion Animals Needing Diagnosis Assistance, CANDA, is a non-profit organization whose objective is to provide financial assistance toward veterinarian diagnostic costs for low income pet owners within the Los Angeles and Orange County areas. By working with committed volunteers, local veterinarians, and the community CANDA is able to reduce the euthanization rate of domesticated animals. In addition CANDA helps to maintain the animal-human relationship while serving as a resource to our community by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership.

ReplyDeleteAre there minimum requirements to be eligible for this sort of assistance? For instance, who are the target market and how much income per household would be considered eligible.
